i have a macbook pro and i just want to make some simple beats and loops to freestyle over. what kind of free software is out there to do so with?

for loops you can use Adobe Audition, for making simple beats you could use Fruity Loops. You can download it from torrent sites.

i dont think either one of those programs are available to mac

yes .reason/recycle is available for mac

hmm GarageBand, not sure if you can make beats with it. People only told me.
